PowerSwap: Editing your mechanical drawing has never been easier. With the PowerSwap utility (accessible from the MPT Toolbar) you can change the fasteners and any hole to any available type.
PowerEdit: Making revisions is a snap using the PowerEdit Tool. Edit your mechanical drawing parametrically with the easy to use dialog interface. The fastener program interface in MPT 4 Lite is also easy to use.
Layer Manager: In addition you’ll also find powerful tools like MPT “Layer Manager”. With the Layer Manager you can define and save different layers groupings. For example, you could load a layer setting for one client “A” and then load another for client “B”.

Hole Charting: You can auto create Hole schedules with the full version of this Mechanical Software Suite. Simply select which holes you wish to chart, and the program does the rest. If you move or delete holes, the chart is as updated automatically.
Datum Dimensioning: A Datum Dimensioning module dramatically enhances AutoCAD’s datum dimensioning. All the dimensioning tools are right at you finger tips. Simply “point and click.” and the software auto dimensions for you.
Bonus Tools: Mechanical Power Tools also includes several “Bonus” programs to allow you to easily create common components. The example snapshot (far right) shows the Cylinder program. Also included are a Cam Follower, Flange Block, Pillow Block, Pin Retainer, Rod Clevis, Rod Coupling, Rod Eye, ANSI Bushings, and Retaining Rings.
