This solution gives users automated, high-speed conversion of an unlimited number of documents to PDF (or ten other file formats including DWF, TIF, and JPG). Ideal for companies that share and archive CAD and Windows documents.

What are Watched Directories?

Bluebeam’s new watched folder interface monitors existing folders and subfolders in a file vault or on a network drive and automatically converts new or changed files to PDF in scheduled intervals.

Configuration options include:

• Page size customization

• Auto PDF text stamping

• Auto PDF watermarking

• Unlimited input & output folders

The watch folder feature allows you to define individual directories and which type of conversion. Each Watch directory can be configured to use different conversion settings.

For example, different watched directories can create different published files (i.e. one watched directory will output files of a certain page size or another may include a certain text stamp).

This solution gives users automated, high-speed conversion of an unlimited number of documents.

Bluebeam does not limit the number of users networked to the server solution.

• Issue a server “print command” to any file type: Can be programmed to output to 11 file formats (PDF, DWF, TIF, JPG, GIF, BMP, PCL, PNG, PSD, EMF, and WMF)

• Can also convert postscript (PS) to PDF

• Bluebeam Conversion Server customers will have complete access to the Bluebeam API.

• .NET API (Visual Basic, .NET, C#.NET)
