You can change application settings using the P&ID Configuration (CFG) - Settings. For example, you can have the program change from Flanged valves to Socket Welded valves at a predetermined “small” size.
User defined symbols are added to each P&ID item category. The Pipe & Instrumentation Diagram module covers all the required symbols to generate drawings with extreme accuracy.

The Mech-Q P&ID size settings affect the size appearance of all the different categories of P&ID items. You can change these sizes to suit your requirements.
Settings Configuration
In the P&ID settings dialogue you can also specify if the components repeat (“Repeat Draw”) is ON or OFF .
To access the Settings configuration start the Mech-Q P&ID then use the “CFG” tab. This will start the Mech-Q P&ID CFG dialogue - Select the “Settings” tab. This will display the “Mech-Q P&ID Settings” dialogue.
Program Toggles

•Install software. You will be given an Serial Number, listed in the Mech-Q start up dialogue.
•Use the Mech-Q On-Line Authorization Code Application to register your software

•Once registered & processed you will be emailed the authorization code within 24 hours to unlock the software.
