We thought we would revisit some of its functionality and explain some of the individual mechanical packages offered. MECH-Q software is assembled with several software modules. The Mechanical module includes a comprehensive range of mechanical symbols, a large range of fasteners, bearings & housings, gears, material handling equipment, springs, shafts utility and many more - most available in 2-D or 3-D solids.
The mechanical structural steel detailing module is a must have for any AutoCAD mechanical office. It includes a full range steel shapes both in 2-D & 3-D - with weighted auto-BOM, Beam-connections, stairs, ladders, bracing, hand railing, frames, beam designer and many more. Many of the mechanical details come with auto-dimensioning -
The Mechanical Piping software module is an easy to use full 2-D & 3-D piping package. It includes a comprehensive range of pipe fittings, flanges and valves - Welded, flanged, threaded, PVC, Cast Iron & Victaulic. Other utilities include: Isometric piping, P&ID, fabricated pipe, hangers, vessels and many more mechanical software tools and add-ons.
Mechanical HVAC Ducting module allows you to draw rectangular, round and flat oval ducting. Lets you generate complex HVAC ducting layouts with surprising ease. The software adds insulation as required and bends design is fully customizable. Auto-Labeling and elevations are some of the many options.
