Survey and COGO supports the most used features of land designers everywhere including standards based ASCII import and export to data collectors, annotation, computing areas, reporting, etc.
Following with the DTM module allows your TIN (triangular irregular network) to be created from point data, boundaries and voids, including fault lines, meshing, and volume calculations. Contours may also be created at user defined intervals.
progeEARTH (Civil/Survey) Modules
The Road Design module:
- Define and display proposed profiles along with vertical curves.
- Define and apply roadway templates to the cross sections.
- Place ditches by elevation or depth.
- Define back slopes or pin to an offset.
- Calculate cut and fill volumes based on average end areas.
- Cut profiles and cross sections at user defined intervals along an alignment.
The Digital Terrain Modeling module:
- Easily create a TIN (triangulated irregular network) of a set of points.
- Contours may be created at user defined intervals and placed on user defined layers.
- A mesh may be created of the surface.
- Volume calculations may be made between two surfaces.
- Create an unlimited number of surfaces.
- Select a polyline alignment and cut a profile from the surface and then imported into a DWG
Survey & COGO :
- Set points by entering Northing & Eastings or pick a point.
- Automatic Linework and point symbols!
- Complete point protection - either overwrite existing points or renumbering points when importing.
- Set points using a boundary traverse or side shot with turned angle, North azimuth or South azimuth
- Select the points you need for a radial stakeout and create a radial stakeout report
- Inverse points by entering the point number.
- Find intersections by Bearing - Bearing, Bearing - Distance, Az - Az, Az - Distance, Distance - Distance, Line - Arc, and Point offset to a line.
- Draw a line from point to point by entering a range of point numbers.
- Import points from an ASCII file or export points to an ASCII file.
- Manipulate points in the drawing by moving or rotating them, you may change the elevation of a group of points and more!
- Label the bearing (or North or South Azimuth) and distance of a line by selecting it or by picking points.
- Label coordinates by picking a point.
- Label areas by selecting a closed polyline.
- Label station and offset from an alignment (line, polyline or arc).
- List the bearing and distance of a line by selecting it.
- Program automatically compute lot areas by Slide Bearing or Radial methods.
