AutoORTHO includes all drafting tools required to easily generate 2D piping plans and sections in AutoCAD using single or double line. AutoORTHO also includes many more comprehensive group of useful utilities.

AutoORTHO comes standard with everything you need to get to work. The software includes a complete selection of standard pipe fittings, a function to calculate pipe spacing on pipe racks and a full range of valve types. This piping software for AutoCAD is a module of the 2d Designers Series from PROCAD.

AutoORTHO puts you in control

Although AutoORTHO may seem very automatic it is designed so you are always in control of the final output. You can easily add to, or modify the dimensional data of any component. AutoORTHO’s Auto-Route function lets you draw orthographic drawings quickly and easily. It places your piping components sequentially so you can work faster and still create the detailed, accurate drawings you need.

How the auto-piping input works

AutoORTHO is a spec driven application for AutoCAD. Instead of using predefined blocks in your drawing, the piping software dynamically draws as you go. It includes all drafting tools nessesary to generate quality 2D piping plans and sections in single or double line. User can easily add to, or modify the dimensional data of any piping component.

The Auto-Pipe-Route function automates the drafting process. After selecting a start point and direction, simply select one fitting after another. The application places these fittings sequentially by constantly moving the insertion point forward.

This application includes a comprehensive selection of valves, flanges and fittings. It also includes toolbar commands for civil and structural steel drafting.

Spec Driven

AutoORTHO comes with a robust Spec Generator that lets you create your own piping specs. AutoORTHO ships with three pre-defined carbon steel ANSI Specs for 150#, 300#, and 600# ratings.

Tabbed Toolbox

The Tabbed Toolbox (see screenshot at right) is a PRO-CAD innovation that provides quick and easy access to all 2D DESIGNER drafting tools. Each tab contains related groups of tools. The easy to use tab layout design keeps the tool buttons visible at all times.

Lists & Bill of Materials (BOMs)

With the click of a button you can generate a detailed Bill of Materials on your piping plan(s).

External Database Tie-in

AutoORTHO works with AutoDATA:”http://www.cadopolis.com/ProCadAutoData.html”, allowing you to generate material summaries for one design or the entire project.
