This dialog box driven, Fast Load Autolisp (FAS) application, lets you build a complete 3D helical stair in seconds, including fancy handrails and tread finishes. Built for AutoCAD 2000 / ADT thru AutoCAD 2007.

Simple to use dialog box - just specify on the dialog box : Tread depth, Landing height, Inner radius, Stair width and Max. riser height.
Watch the stair being built in seconds performing the following tasks:
- A solid stair run
- Riser and tread finishes including nosing
- Left and/or right top railing
- Intermediate railing and balusters
- All elements are automatically drawn on their own layers
The dialog box allows the user to see all calculation results before executing the OK button. Number of risers, Final riser height, 2 risers + 1 tread value, XY plane landing angle, Total length, Height/revolution, and tread angle can be checked, after you have entered the data, thru a helpful “Do Calc” button.
The chosen parameters give you the possibility to draw hundreds of different stair models.
You can also get the volume of the stair by means of the “Massprop” AutoCad command. Should you need a cross section, just join together all elements with the AutoCAD “Union” command, and then use the “Slice” command.
